Aww what a kind response—thank you. I posted this story earlier this week and yes, the timing was real-time. First time I’ve ever really done that, process something painful by writing about it.

As for the second part of our message, I think that remains to be seen. I already know what I’d like to have happen. He’s the one who is stuck. I wrote him a story just for him and sent it right when I posted this. He told me I’m the most emotionally intelligent person he’s ever known. Now he’s been quiet a few days.

I think I’m letting him go. I’d like it if he returns to me to explore this, but that’s the only way it could happen. Sadly, I fear my role here was catalyst.

Time will tell.
