Good grief, what could one possible write in a trigger warning that would be useful to all readers?

“Trigger warnings . . . typically warn people about the distressing reactions they may have but do not explain how to reduce these reactions,” they wrote. It’s possible that better-structured warnings — warnings that provide some useful guidance — could perform better in these sorts of studies.
