Good point. Maybe I’m too cynical but my thought is, EVERYONE is photoshopped if they’re in a magazine. So why not showcase people of all ages?

And I’ve disliked the language from women about not wanting to sexualize an older woman. If Martha wants to be seen as a sexual being, let her! I hope I still feel and look like a sexual being at her age. Normalizing that women over a certain age aren’t sexual is… well, it’s kinda the norm right now.

I’d like to see that change. Hopefully before I get there! 😏
