It’s not Medium OR Substack. It’s Medium AND Substack.

Friends, it’s time.

I’ve been testing the proverbial waters over at Substack, and I’m happy to report back they’re warm and wavy. Are you also Substack-curious, or are already there?

Here’s where you can find me:

• Dana DuBois Writes. Everything I write lives here.
• Pink Hair & Pronouns. PHAP is publication for parents and caregivers of trans and nonbinary kids. I write here, and I welcome submissions from other writers — including previously written stories from Medium.
• genXy. This is a brand-new publication (and podcast!) I created with my BFF Lawrence Winnerman. It’s a place for liberal GenXers to explore the unique joys, pitfalls, and opportunities of our shared lived experience as the most overlooked generation — and we also welcome new writers.

To be clear, I’m not leaving Medium.

Medium has been my writing home. Over the past almost two years here, I’ve written nearly 200 stories. I’ve launched three publications. I’ve Boosted dozens of writers. Best of all, I’ve found all of you — my writing community.

I don’t see Medium vs. Substack as an “or” question.
