I can't tell you how often I've replied to this "compliment" with, "Oh, but I do, because this is what (enter my current age) looks like!"

I'm proud of my age (52 at the moment). Or more specifically, I'm proud of how I've chosen to live these 52 years. If it shows in my physicality, fine. But that's not where the pride lies for me, ya know?
