I could’ve just highlighted this entire comment, it was all so spot-on. As you may have noticed, I wrote it for a bran new publication I’ll be officially launching in the coming weeks. It’s called “Pink Hair & Pronouns” and the intent is to share stories at the intersection of parenting and gender. I’d love if you could take the thoughts you’ve shared here and create an article! The notion of “if they’re mature enough to choose a pronoun, then they need to be mature enough to own explaining why and communicating the change to others” is a really interesting one.
