My youngest is obsessed with these films and we like to watch them on grey rainy days (and we live in Seattle, so… often). The more I watch them, the more I’m rooting for the evil vampires to just destroy her. That entire town is trying to protect her—the natives have turned into wolves, the cops are on high alert, the Cullens are using all their powers, supernatural and otherwise—and she’s all, I’m sad, so I’m gonna go hurl myself off a cliff into the whirling Pacific Ocean. Girl YOU DESERVE TO DROWN.

She’s a horrible role model.

I still sorta love to watch the movies and even though he’s deeply abusive and manipulative, I’m still Team Edward. 😏
