Oh course I considered. I spent a solid week thinking this was all my fault and stinging about it. The repeated pattern of having these petty/mean interactions made me bring it up to Sunny, who helped me consider my experiences in a new light.

A narrator offered point of view on events, weaves them into a story. This is mine. I’m certain Sven’s story would read entirely differently—and that’s okay! Both stories can be true, in their own ways. I don’t think Sven set out to be cruel—like I don’t think it was calculated. But it still was, at least to me.

I’d love to read his interpretations of the date. Maybe that’ll be his next script. 🤷🏽‍♀️
