I don’t like the spirit in which this is written but I think you also make a good point. All of the work I’ve done with my child is to help them feel comfortable in the body they were born with—and the gender roles expected of it—and to be there with them while they explore what that means, growing up right now.

That’s why I’m writing here, to help share what I’ve learned and mostly, to meet and learn from others doing the same.
