Thank you! This is all so new, for so many parents. And with it being such a heated political debate, I fear this point is getting missed--sometimes it's an exploration, not a permanent part of identity, when a child comes out. Our role as parents is exactly what you said, to hold space and allow them to explore--or at least, that's my belief.
