This is wonderful and insightful, thank you for sharing! I think context is super important here. We were in Seattle, not Texas, a place where gender fluidity for kids and young adults is essentially a norm. Offering puberty blockers that quickly was irresponsible. But you’re right, I do appreciate the spirit of it. I do also worry that they’re overshooting a bit, in an effort to be inclusive.

I’d far rather have this issue than what kids in Texas face, no question.
