Well FWIW, your comment here made me feel very seen, and I thank you. I played a few Sinéad videos for my 15yo and was trying to explain how she was one of the very first to show us, you don’t have to perform for the male gaze. I think she got it, a little. My kids liked the Breakfast Club and I actually said to A, this came out a few years after the BF and how Ally Sheedy’s character (their favorite) would’ve loved Sinead O’Connor. 😊
